The Giant Water Connected Sims..

Zatzai Asturias sent me this picture link today:



This is the giant collection of mostly water void sims (more than 100, connected), of which her own Artificial Island and other sims are part of the bottom of. I have reported on this before, when the giant sea was considerably smaller. I had an interesting chat with Zatzai as I was requesting permission to do a photo shoot in her sims. She sent me links to the map above (click to see a closer view). It is important to note that these sims are privately held, and if you plan on doing something nautical other than sailing, you may wish to ask permission from the people on this chart first. Some of them have additional restrictions-- for instance, all the orange SUDANE land on this chart is owned by an individual who will not allow military craft of any kind on her land. Something to bear in mind.

I have asked permission from a couple of these people, and I can attest that a polite, diplomatic approach, outlining exactly what you plan to do, when you plan to do it with a promise you'll clean up afterward will do wonders. On the other hand, I've been booted and banned for the ignorant mistake of rezzing ironclads in the middle of a regatta. Only some hasty toadying avoided a permanent ban.
