Hi ho for the Open Sea!

Having missed my good friend Dia's last silly regatta, I felt it would be meet and just for me to partake in today's affair. Alas, I didn't really have anything I thought was "Quite Silly Enough", or so I thought, until I saw Denver Hax putting a giant water-skiing rabbit in the drink. So I brought "Willy" out of retirement.

Willy had a shot at the title, I think.. down down down to the end of Murdann.. oh, there's no Murdan there any more.. CRISIS! I looped around the newly named sim (Caledon whatever it is) and headed back West)-- squeeeeeeeezing through the narrow gap of Middlesea, limping through the Sperlings in a jittery state (somebody has a lot of prims out, somewhere!), and then the classic disaster of the South side of Lion's Gate...

I have no idea why, but even in relatively slow going ironclads, I have trouble going south of Lion's gate, every time. This time, I was sent into a low flying orbit around the planet..

In any event, I ended up pulling in late, but not last, after relogging and herding Willy back into the race with some extra tuna.

Great fun, Dia! Thanks for throwing this! Like so many other openspace sims in Caledon, this is likely the last Hurrah (or so Dia says), so I am glad I managed to catch this before we have to adjust to the new way of life.
