The Catharsis of Griefing Ourselves

As a fitting thumbing of nose to the Lindens for destruction of so many communities as a result of the Homestead Act, several paty guests attended Eva Bellambi's final Highland Fling at Loch Avie last night. There were cabers and hammers to toss, music and dancing. Her grace requested we set up tiny ironclads from our old Burning Life display. Running the latter rapidly became hellish, as the sim's performance was being voluntarily tested by, ahem, the enthusiastic application of scripted objects and and prims by party guests.

Let us say.. the activity became more widespread as sim-stressing became the cathartic activity of the night; futile, perhaps, but hopefully the Lindens had a light on a board blink in consternation for a few minutes. Here's a little footage:

Music: An End of An Era by the SuperSuckers, and White Trash by Reverand HortonHeat. (No editorial meant by the title; the music seems to fit with griefer like activity)

H-
Thanks for this. I have not yet moved into the motion picture set, and I appreciate seeing the chaos and fun that was Sunday night in Loch Avie.
Real Life has kept me quite busy since then, and I have not had a chance to make a post on the party. But I will. Promise. :-D

It was so much fun! And a fitting way to go out with a bang. (The avatar limit is in fact in place now as expected.)

Truly the end of an era. I keep hoping that at some point LL will find a better solution than the one currently in place.
