REPOST from the Steelhead Sentinel:The Steelhead Public Library will be sponsoring yet another storytelling event at the Steelhead Hotel and Ballroom this Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Twelve Noon, SLT.
Come on foot, on horseback, or by teleport. Hitch up the team and come by sleigh, or, if you are the adventurous type, try out that new-fangled horseless carriage. Listen to a few tall (or not so tall) tales, and perhaps share a few of your own. We will meet in the beautiful Steelhead Hotel Ballroom, which is located about a block from the Steelhead Public Library.
This is an informal storytelling session - all are invited to come and listen or contribute. Brief stories or poems are most welcome.
Original material is appreciated, but not required. If you did not write the material you will be performing, it is your responsibility to determine that the work is no longer covered by copyright or to obtain permission from the copyright holder.
Stories may be in either text or SL voice. If SL and RL permit, voice stories will be streamed on Gargoyle Radio.
